About artist:
The artist was born in Sokółka in 1952. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1977, she was granted her diploma by the Academy and Professor Stefan Gierowski in painting, in relief (fresco) by Ryszard Wojciechowski and in visual structure by Roman Owidzki. Anna has presented her work at over twenty individual exhibitions here and in such countries as Argentina, Sweden and Lithuania. She has taken part in multiple Polish exhibitions as well as presentations of Polish art abroad. The artist has co-organized many campaigns for charity among these a campaign for benefit of the Oncology Hospice of Warsaw and an auction in the National Museum of Warsaw lending a helping hand to artist who had been flood victims two years before. Anna is also one of the founding members of Delfina's Gallery in Warsaw.

She has received many awards including: 1979 - II Award - Festival of the Art of the Young of Warsaw Environment; 1997 - III Award - Four Seasons of the Year - Szczecinek; Grand Prix the 2nd Autumn Salon of Arts - Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski; 2000 - "Talents" company award. Her works can be found in many museums and private collections in Poland and throughout the world, among others in the collection of the Queen of Netherlands - Beatrix.
