About artist:

Graduated from Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She got the diploma in painting in the atelier of prof. Krzystof Wachowiak and mural painting in the atelier of prof. Edward Tarkowski.
The diploma has been honoured with two prestigious prizes:
'Szajna Statuette' - Diploma 2003 - for innovation in art - the prize was founded by the governor of the Mazovian province and conferred by the chapter under the chairmanship of prof.Józef Szajna, 'The Best Diploma in Painting'-the prize of Ms Ewa Tomaszewska, the member of Parliament. The diploma titled 'The Landscape with a Birdie' was made with the use of two painting techniques: own oil technique and the unique technique of enamel on metal. It was presented in 'Studio Gallery' in the Palace of Science and Culture in Warsaw.
The artist is fascinated by the nature, the world of fauna and flora which provide inspiration for her works. She participates in numerous painting open air events and travels to different parts of the world. Her works are a colourful response to the entirety of phenomena and problems which create our complex reality. The main topics of Bogna's works are compositions inspired by birds, egsotism, the fairy tale land and emotionally loaded landscapes.
