About artist: She was born in Katowice in 1954. In 1978 she graduated from the University of Silesia. The painter has been active in Polish artistic society for the last 25 years. She participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions in Poland, Europe, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, USA. Ms Dziopak paints the traditional landscapes. She shows her admiration for the beauty of landscape and the uniqueness of old architecture. The interplay of color is very important in her art as it conjures up the atmosphere and renders the drama of the present-day existence. Maria paints with rapid, impetutous strokes of the brush, often employs palette-knife to obtain the dramatic effect in thick expressive facture treatment. The painter has established three galleries in Warsaw, in which the leading representing Polish artist are displayed with great success.
