Born in Częstochowa, Poland.  Graduated at the Sculpture Department at the Academy of Fine Arts under the direction of Professor Tadeusz Łodziana. He also studied in Italy at the Academia di Belle Arte “Brera” under the direction of Professor Giorgio de Giorgii.
He started his career in painting in the 1970’s with a large debut exhibition in the “Art” Gallery in Warsaw. He has had numerous exhibitions both at home and abroad - most recently in Warsaw, but also several exhibits over the years in Paris, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Milan, Vancouver, Bonn and St. Tropez.
